What does it mean to be empowered? It means having a “I can do anything!” attitude. It means chasing after your dreams without any regrets, explanations, or excuses.

According to Helen Keller, “We can do anything we want to do if we stick to it long enough.” I believe everyone has the potential to be anything they want or to do anything they want. So long as you learn how to get along with others and not harm people in the process, you can achieve any dream.
Some people don’t know what their real dreams are. For me, I didn’t know what my dreams were. They always changed. When I was younger, I wanted to become a pediatrician. But later, I said I wanted to be a singer. And then later, I change my mind to computer science. And then again, I wanted to learn mathematics, and then music, and now, I’m still a bit confused about which subject I would like to pursue first.
Music was fun to create and was a good outlet for me to express my emotions. But nowadays, I like to blog, read, and write. Maybe later, I would like to pursue music again. It’s somewhat challenging to be a solopreneur, creating your own beats, writing your own music, uploading videos on your own YouTube channels, and blogging on the side. But, it is doable for any person who hustles hard and has that “I can do anything” mentality.
In order to achieve this state of mind, you must first accept responsibility for your mistakes. And second, learn how to live your own life. No regrets, no explanations, and no excuses. Go full on, and ask for help on the side if and when you need it. And try not to let negativity get in the way.
I’m reminded of something Will Smith once said in one of his interviews. If you have a dream, you have to hold onto it. For example, if you’re passionate about bowling, you should pursue it rather than working somewhere that you don’t like. I agree with him wholeheartedly. You should do the things that you enjoy, and learn how to create a lifestyle around those dreams. It can be confusing to figure out at first, but the more you try, the easier it becomes.
