The Convicted Con Man Takes Credit Again

After wasting precious time, energy, and resources framing TikTok as a spy on Americans for the Chinese government, Trump (who I will from now on refer to as “Con Man”) has reinstated TikTok. This occurred hours after TikTok being banned/removed from mobile app stores. As always, Con Man enjoys receiving credit and recognition at the expense of others. Below is a screenshot of the message American users received upon re-opening the app when it was reinstated:

Remember the pandemic? COVID? How Con Man didn’t think it was a big deal, then claimed that consuming bleach would cure you of it, and then later got so paranoid of China that he wanted to get rid of TikTok permanently, that “Chinese spy app”? Do you realize that the US federal government literally wasted hours and working class taxes (and their precious time, money, and energy as well) to debate over whether TikTok should or should not be banned… They finally came to an “agreement” to ban the app. Then Con Man just swoops in and takes credit, for wasting precious resources and labor.

What “efforts” did Con Man take in order to get TikTok back in the U.S.? Did he spend less than a day? A working day (8 hours)? Are we going to totally disregard the wastage and inefficiency of government resources?

Con Man has no sense of responsibility and lacks self-accountability entirely. As such, he is not fit for any position of leadership, whether it be in politics or business. We need to hold people particularly in authoritative positions accountable for the consequences of their actions. No person of influence should be allowed to do more harm than good. From time to time, harm may seem like the only option when it comes to survival and protecting others. At the same time, we need critical thinkers as leaders, ones who can properly assess the importance and urgency of various issues and respond accordingly, ones who sincerely have the best interests of the 99%.
