What Could I Teach Others

Today, I was chatting with some people and one person mentioned how I could teach them beginner phrases in Korean. It made me think about what knowledge I possess that I could possibly teach others. So, here’s a list of what I personally could teach others:

– Speaking Korean
– Writing/reading Korean
– Speaking English
– Writing/reading English
– Posting your music to Spotify/iTunes so you can make money off it
– Creating a website using WordPress
– Basic algebra
– Basic geometry
– Producing music on Logic Pro X
– Producing music on GarageBand
– Playing the keyboard/piano
– Coping strategies for hearing voices
– Creating/uploading videos onto YouTube
– Creating thumbnails for YouTube videos using Seashore
– Using an Android phone for beginners
– Using an iPhone for beginners
– Using email (GMail specifically)
– Using FaceBook
– Using Instagram

I think this is a pretty good list. I could find a way to monetize teaching some of these skills. That’s what I’ve been looking into for a while. I get stuck at figuring what’s profitable or enjoyable and the logistics of it.

Yesterday, I posted about how I could teach music production on Logic Pro X or GarageBand for beginners. I wanted to see if I had an audience that was interested first. Though, I know I could also use targeted ads to find those specific people.

It’s cool to have the idea, but the part that gets me is execution. If you want to create an online course, you have to create the content. You have to record videos or create a presentation. You at least have to write something out, like a general outline or guide. At least, that’s the idea I have. I guess to have a better idea, it’s better to research and see what other course instructors do.

If I want to start, I guess I should choose one of these ideas first and stick to it. Then, write out an action plan. I don’t have to go in order, just get started. Like if I don’t know how to outline the courses, I could start by just recording and seeing what I teach. And then, I could organize it later. Or, I could plan out a lesson first. It doesn’t really matter what the order is.
